It is possible to hunt all year round in the Eastern Cape, however, it can get rather hot in the summer months of December and January. Hunting is therefore restricted to the cooler months of April to September. The winter months can be rather cold with morning temperatures sometimes slipping to 0 degrees Celsius. Snow is also a possibility in the mountains.
